This project presented challenges due to the changes in elevation running across the rear yard. The project scope included a screened porch with storage underneath, a fireplace, upper terrace and walkway to the upper side yard. Effort was made to make the elevation changes within the outdoors not feel disruptive to the flow and overall appearance of the project. The final result is a backyard that has character and interest despite the apparent grade change.
