clinton st. kitchen
this kitchen was transformed from a 1970's disaster into a period piece that weaves seamlessly into the existing house. reclaimed materials were used for the island and flooring. new windows, archways, a reconfigured back porch and a built in dining area work together to reconnect the kitchen with the large garden space. The homeowner chose a straw yellow color for the cabinetry, which was described by another client as having a warm, glowing effect. the space feels calm and balanced and lives well in this beautiful period home.
