this project involved a complete remodel of the ground floor of the house, creating a large open kitchen, dining, and family space facing the landscape which was previously broken up into separate rooms. a 17' wide 'nana wall' connects the kitchen space with the outdoor terrace to accomodate the frequent large family gatherings. the materials and design were conceived to be upscale, yet casual and comfortable.
