This Rancho Estates residence includes a 7,000 square foot main house and Moroccan-inspired cabana that was in need of a dramatic boost and an upgrade in elegance. This project involved a gut renovation keeping a few key architectural features and reconfiguring space to create a screening room and powder room without adding square feet. The original dramatic elements were enhanced using deco and modern patterns. The custom mosaic tile “rug” in the foyer is 9’ in diameter, made of marbles from Carrera to Negro Marquina Black and took nine men to lift it into place.
