The "after" photos represent the perfect "jewel box" house. The "before" was a 1940's house, approximately 1400 sq. ft. before the addition and remodel. The new house is about 2400 sq. ft. In addition to an entirely new master bedroom and bathroom suite, the bulk of the construction was removing an old fashioned wet bar (very cool! a tough one to do away with!) and opening up the kitchen to the family room. I remodeled the house from top to bottom including transitional lighting fixtures, wallpaper and a navy and grey color palette. The new owner, a costume designer who furnished the house herself, has an amazing eye for mixing art, furniture styles and color.
