A contemporary kitchen featuring a cloud-shaped island countertop in a bright orange accented by a red glass tile backsplash. Stepped cabinetry and industrial style pendants draw the eye upward to capitalize on the vaulted ceiling. When I walked into this client's home, I knew it would be a fun project. A fearless decorator, with well-developed tastes is a joy to work with. You can clearly see her sense of style in the form and color of the accessories that populate the rest of the space. This space was originally the traditional living, room, dining room, kitchen, & family room combination found in many 70's vintage floor plans. Because the walls were holding up the vaulted ceiling, we added the large structural beam, so we could remove all of the walls and create a nice open plan.
