An eclectic bath remodel for an art-loving client. An 80's vintage master bath was in dire need of an update. Switching from a large sunken tub to a free-standing tub added style and captured space for a larger shower. The slipper-shaped resin tub puts a contemporary spin on a traditional shape, while a custom free-form grab bar and honed Travertine marble step, make tub entry easy & safe without sacrificing style. A marble sculpture on a pedestal and the dramatic roman shades focus the attention on the tub area. The new shower features a metallic glaze on a charcoal tile with accents of blue eyes granite, glass, and stainless steel. A 12" rain head, fixed shower head, hand shower, and steam generator comprise the luxury plumbing package. Towel storage integrated into the outside of the shower adds convenience and interest. His & hers vanities serve both clients with lots of storage. Under-mounted, back-lit, glass lavatory sinks with hands-free faucets serve as night lights. Illuminated art pieces fill all available wall space. The toilet compartment features heavy frame-less glass doors, a bidet-seated toilet, a glass door storage cabinet, and art lighting. Heated honed Travertine marble covers the floor and the tub step.
