A kitchen and dining room in a 1940's government-built "A" house are combined to create an eclectic, two-room, kitchen / pantry space. As a designer, sometimes we are called upon to create the vision, and other times we facilitate and implement the vision of the client. This is a great example of the latter. Elements include: a rustic maple floor, a glazed, brush-stroke finish on the cabinetry, grooved and battened bi-fold doors on the reach-in pantry, open shelves for her antique knick knacks, 2 sinks, and open wall space for furniture,
