Cozy Hideaway is a deck addition designed, for a couple, living just a few miles south of the Canadian border in Lynden, Washington. The lot is situated facing the stunning Cascade Volcanic Arc in northern Washington. Above all, the clients wanted to make the most of this view.



The owners of Cozy Hideaway wanted to expand on their existing deck to accommodate the possibility for some outdoor living in the summer months. The existing deck was more of a landing outside their back door that led to some stairs coming down to their back yard and rear parking area. The revised design added just over 200 square feet of outdoor living potential. Featuring an ample amount of room for a dining set and a few lounge chairs. With this addition, the owners can enjoy their beautiful view in leisure. All while soaking up some vitamin D on this beautiful uncovered deck. In conclusion, proving you don’t have to go far to find paradise.
