Wallace Fleming

Crescent Heights Basement (2)

A basement with a creek running through it . . . well not intentionally! Due to a past renovation error Wallace Fleming discovered a small stream running through the middle (underneath a sub-floor) of this late 1940's basement which led to a major waterproofing effort, involving an internal weeping tile system, sump pump and foundation crack filling. While a big undertaking which caused a delay the basement was completed to the clients' satisfaction and met all their expectation in fit, finish & quality. Highlights of the basement include a spacious laundry room, walk-in shower, heated bathroom floor, concealed furnace access (behind a hallway bookshelf), new hardwood treads, landing and railing to match, and a workout area and wine storage underneath the stairs.
