Hosteling International - Calgary
Located in the up-and-coming and soon-to-be-trendy East Village, the long-standing Calgary Hosteling International building was in need of a major face-lift to integrate it seamlessly into the new neighborhood.
With the proven ability to handle large-scale exterior renovation projects and working with qualified James Hardie Preferred Remodellers and Installers, Wallace Fleming was engaged to completely re-side the entire building with HardiePanel and CanExcel siding. Working in conjunction with an architectural firm from Vancouver B.C., Wallace Fleming and its trade partners were able to execute the removal and replacement of the siding and install new energy-efficient doors and windows in 4 months. Other elements of the project included updating exterior lighting, replacing, waterproofing and resurfacing a heavily water-damaged exterior deck, and minor interior work.
