This beautiful, clean mid-50s bungalow basement in the Calgary community of Glenwood received a complete redesign and re-build from the ground up including new mechanical (furnace, duct work, hot water tank, and relocation of both) and upgraded electrical, including panel & service, and plumbing ground works). Additional upgrades include new windows (two of which were enlarged) and main floor-to-basement stairs.

While Wallace Fleming was hired to completely renovate the basement in the process our client also engaged us to renovate the main floor kitchen. To accommodate the latter renovation a number of electrical, plumbing and mechanical changes & upgrades were made during the basement renovation to ensure the kitchen met all new electrical, plumbing and building codes.

The final result is a much more functional, attractive and brighter basement that better meets the needs of a busy family of 5.
