This beautiful Spanish Colonial home in Long Beach, California was in desperate of a new bay window. We managed to extract the old wood bay unit without damaging the the tile work inside. In order to keep the tile shelf inside we had to build this unit on site. The reason being, most pre-fabricated bay units have a different projection and angle, so matching the existing tile shelf shape and size is next to impossible.
We had a copper lid fabricated and shipped from Santa Barbara. We designed it's shape to mimic the architectural details of the Spanish Colonial homes in the neighborhood.
