"Design Studio"

"The Design Studio" is a custom build project created to be the the ideal home for an office. This highly functional space fits everything into one compact area, while still feeling spacious and luxurious. The black and white backdrop is the perfect canvas for the display of furniture and lighting throughout the space.

Reception Area - Furnished with custom, Canadian made designer furniture and custom made throw pillows. This area features items which are for sale as a part of the Design Studio's showroom - complete designer lighting, fabric samples, area rug samples, and more.

Custom built reception desk. One work area is exposed to the open space, the other is partially hidden behind a half wall which was cladded in wood. Three designer pendants hang over the nine foot desk.

A custom built, reclaimed wood rolling island creates the ideal place to sit with and look over design ideas. A cube shelf houses catalogs, paint samples, finish samples, and a tower on the opposite side displays counter top samples.

The bathroom has outstanding impact with many design features being used in one small space. A emerald green wall gives a punch of color to almost entirely black and white space while not competing with the patterned cement tiles. A glass vessel sink sits on a reclaimed wood floating shelf in place...

"Hallway" to kitchenette and CEO. Canvas prints are hung on galvanized pipe to showcase project photo's, lit by more designer lighting.

A small kitchenette is found off the hallway. The finished for this space were pulled from other areas of the office: Cabinet colour from the main area reception desk, a reclaimed wood floating shelf mirrors the rolling island, and black accents throughout.
