Mid-Century Farm

Project Year: 2019
Black vinyl board and batten style siding was installed around the entire exterior, accented with cedar wood tones on the garage door, dormer window, and the posts on the front porch. The dark, modern look was continued with the use of black soffit, fascia, windows, and stone.

Entering the home you're welcomed by an expansive open-concept space with vaulted ceilings. Custom-built beams where installed and a dormer window was added for additional light. Black and white elements contrast each other beautifully with warm touches of wood.

A dog house was added in un-used space under the staircase. Framed with baseboard the opening was made to mimic the lines of a traditional dog house - a custom gate was added and everything was painted a dark navy.

One of the rooms in the basement was completely soundproofed and fitted to be a home theatre. Hook-ups for multiple T.V.'s, a projector and projector screen, and colour changing LED pot lights where all installed.
