The first step of this make over was the engineering and rebuilding of the main retaining wall and rebuilding the driveway with pavers. We painted the wood retaining walls on the house side of the driveway to dress them up and gave most of the design details to the street-side slope. It is small and yet fun to explore with interesting rocks, cactus and succulent plantings, and a meandering creek bed.
