Terracing slopes provided space to plant and to maintain the space. It also enhanced the views out the back of the house. The narrow and uneven back concrete patio was removed and drainage installed with permeable gravel paving in the middle and raised decks on either end. This gave a small walk out deck outside the kitchen. We created a space to tuck in trash containers. The redwood fencing and retaining walls added architectural interest to the property.
