The fine art in this garden has a theme of self-awareness and wonder. The unique light fixtures on each side of the gate offer views of the constellations of Orion and Scorpius. This small courtyard garden, initially a piece of space given away to the street, became an important outdoor living space and place for daily reflection and awareness. It is a testament to the value that a tiny bit of landscape can offer to inspire and restore the mind and body. The garden put a frame around a personal point of view with recycled metals and wood, fine art plaques, and outdoor prints. Custom designed features reveal the transition that exists between the internal and external worlds including life inside the property and the public realm of the sidewalk outside the gates. The observatory on the hill in the distance reminds us of ever expansive and unbounded viewpoints. This garden evolved over a 7 year period.
