This project has child and adult entertaining and play spaces. We designed an octagon shape fire pit at the edge of the slope to fully enjoy the ocean view and made the benches long enough to lay down or have children in laps. The shape is repeated in the custom formed colored concrete stepping stones and stump seats. All the benches are made with lift up storage for outdoor pillows etc. A beautiful slate tiled patio with hanging lights made the under deck area appealing for family activities. The existing steps down the slope were kept and each side was terraced to make the slopes usable and easier to care for. One side has a long slide and a double slide leading to the lower patio play space. We chose colors for the house painting and all aspects of the outdoor areas.
