The project consisted of installation of audio, video presentation systems, control systems, and presentation controls within the 6 Creative Classrooms. The Design, installation and programming of a Crestron Digital Media Presentation System and a Crestron Digital Media (DM) integrated switcher/processor installed in the equipment rack provided video/audio switching and volume control. Audio wise, 2 KSI directional in-ceiling speakers and 4 flush mounted ceiling speakers were installed in the middle and rear of the room. A Crown audio amplifier powers the 6 ceiling speakers. A ceiling mounted video projector was installed to display on an existing screen to provide video support.
In addition to the Creative Classrooms, we also installed A/V systems within 3 Studio Maintenance Classrooms. These classrooms had more presentation and audio controls including a tabletop presentation interface with HDMI, analog audio/video connections and controls installed in workstations at the front of the room. Video wise, four 65″ flat panel LCD displays were wall mounted within each of the Studio Maintenance Classrooms. These systems are controlled by the installation of a 12 space pull-out equipment rack located within a credenza in each room.

The end result of the Creative Classroom project was the addition of collaborative spaces for students and teachers. The spaces were provided simple easy to use systems. Due to the extensive collaboration we were able to deliver exactly what they wanted the first time around.
