ZIO designed a simple state of the art entertainment system that was easy to navigate. The entire system is operated from iPads within the room featuring a much more simple user interface. So simple, international guests that do not speak English can operate the system, performing all basic functions. Additional features included the ability for a guest to stream audio and video from their mobile devices to any zone in the system while at the same time stay connected to the property’s WiFi guest network for Internet access.

ZIO was able to implement iPads with Crestin PinPoint beacons to provide location awareness to each iPad. Allowing the user interface to automatically switch the iPad control area without guest intervention, minimizes confusion and training. This feature ensures that if an iPad is moved between rooms, it will always be controlling the room the guest is in.
