Rich Showplace cherry and careful attention to detail create elegant yet comfortable settings in this striking executive home. Remodeling becomes recreating. The term "remodeling" seems inadequate to describe the task undertaken in this lovely executive home. Virtually every room in the spacious, three-level structure was rethought, reinterpreted, and recreated. Usages were analyzed, walls were moved, staircases were rerouted. And to top off all this thought and effort, Showplace cabinetry was chosen to enhance every area of the home.
To set a tone of dignified elegance, the designer specified the applied-molding Hamilton door style in cherry Truffle with an Ebony glaze. An international overlay keeps visual lines evenly spaced, while five-piece drawer headers add strong horizontal elements to the design. Finely-detailed carvings, onlays and legs were sourced from specialty suppliers, and finished by Showplace to match the cabinetry.
The entire kitchen and family room area was gutted in this remodel, giving the homeowner and designer complete freedom to reconfigure the spaces. The unique multi-level island, serves as a centerpiece of the kitchen. Part of this unique design was created with Showplace wall cabinets, modified for increased depth. The natural quartz countertops add to the elegance of the cabinetry.
A sense of scale and refinement is created with varying cabinet heights and depths. Accents like fluting, valences, carved onlays and corbels add to the impression of luxury.
