A lakeside retreat conveys a taste of New England nautical with beautiful Showplace Antique Linen. The Atlantic seaboard may be a couple thousand miles away, but this lovely lake home captures the flavor of Nantucket well with Antique Linen Showplace cabinetry.

The Summit door style is both simple and visually textured, with its smooth edge profile and beaded center panel. The Pewter glazing picks out the beading, and also adds a nautical pinstriped look to the moldings bordering the lower edge of the wall cabinets. The strategic placement of Shaker mullion glass doors rounds out the seafaring theme.

These distinctive glass doors are refrained in the handsome wet bar and butler's pantry that links the kitchen to the dining room. Note the integrated wine racks in the wall cabinets. The graceful cove molding above the center cabinets seems to suggest the flowing arc of a sail.

The Showplace cabinetry and other wood elements for the central island were supplied unfinished, and custom painted on site with a distinctive weathering technique.
