English Exterior

Some homes are easy to make look good, which is definitely the case with this new home. The garden design marries the European style, making a seamless transition to the cobble like walkway bordered with natural stone curbing and deer resistant landscape. A Belgard Dublin circle kit in the middle of the walkway design breaks the monotony of a straight sidewalk, and the entry detail mimics the curve on the front of the home. Tan and gray pavers were mixed together to highlight and compliment the gray and tan stone tones on the house. The low maintenance landscape includes catmint, hydrangeas, coneflower, smoketree, inkberry, wild blue indigo, lambs ear, native grasses, white fringe tree, new jersey tea shrub, blue mist shrub, lilac, aster, iris, and Russian sage. Island plantings provide some screening and softening for the house with a tulip poplar, spicebush, bayberry, and bottlebrush buckeye.

Phase two of this project included a Belgard Belair curved wall in the lawn with Belgard steps and additional native plantings and edibles on the left side of the home.
