This project comprised of taking a blank, unusable back patio and creating a large covered patio on the golf course. Custom cedar vaulted ceiling, beams and columns give this space a warm feel. The existing brick patio was in disrepair, so we reused some of the brick as an accent at the sidewalk entry, to line the fireplace and patio and to create a stunning accent in the center of the space. A custom garbage and recycle bin was also created to provide an aesthetic and functional cover. The steel fire pit is a real show stopper as the Belgard BelAir wall curves behind it to make a sitting wall. Low maintenance plants like ‘Little Lime’ Hydrangea, liriope, ‘Millenium’ Allium, ‘Pow Wow White’ Coneflower, native switchgrasses, liriope, catmint, and blue flag iris were used to soften the space and add color.
