Ensuite Bath & Closet Renovation

This ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet underwent a drastic renovation. The new design layout involved relocating plumbing and HVAC systems to provide a more functional floor plan. Some square footage was claimed from the adjacent master bedroom to enlarge the ensuite area. A long window was installed over the tub to provide natural light.
The new design incorporated a large glass and tiled shower with built-in seat, a new large tub, and custom built shelves at the foot of the tub to fully utilize every inch of space. The vanity cabinets feature dual under mounted oval sinks, and between them a tower of drawers and shelves for storage and separation. A floor to ceiling custom linen cabinet was built for additional storage, located conveniently at the doorway to the bedroom. A privacy wall separates the vanity from the water closet. The new floor plan created an area for a spacious walk-in closet with custom shelving systems, for practical storage solutions and better utilization of the space, where previously a small shower and the old tub was located..
Tired finishes in this ensuite were updated with new cabinetry, granite counter top and fixtures. The flooring, tub surround and shower feature porcelain tile in a light color. In-floor heating was installed for ultimate comfort. The Italian limestone veneer installed on the feature wall above the tub adds character and natural beauty. A chandelier lighting fixture provides ambiance. The same limestone veneer is installed on the wall above the vanity counter tops. The selections of finishes reflect the homeowners' style and desires, and convey a warm and comfortable feel to this spacious and functional ensuite bathroom.
