Sometimes you've got to work with what's given. Creativity is not only coming up with a great design, but working it into the existing confines of the existing structure is the largest effort. After having the property survey done, an existing municipal drainage easement dramatically reduced the footprint of what was originally planned by the owner. Taking into account of the existing structure with only a few modifications to it greatly reduces the cost of such an add on.
