Make-over for a rear patio on Lake Norman.
A typical 90's 'cape cod' home on the lake. Nicely designed on the front in a Southern Coastal style, but with a very tiny, open patio and a gargantuan concrete stair has no 'curb' appeal to the lakeside of the home. The owners envisioned something that looked as if it had been there all the time and matched the rest of the house. Using a mix of Classical detailing with a Nantucket flavor, the house ties together nicely with the rest of the elevations.
On Lake Norman, the rear of the house is often referred to as the 'front'.
