Once a heavy machinery commercial space, we were asked to convert the raw space into a residential apartment. We had a tight budget but we managed to unify the entire space by white washing the walls and ceiling. Full height glass sliding glass doors help define areas in the open plan space. The characteristic feature of the loft was the very deep and closely spaced beams. We left the rough beams exposed and worked the cabinets and design around them.
