Husband and wife had opposing ideas. She wants traditional, he wants edgy.
Our design solution was a completely traditional kitchen with up to date appliances but with an edge, its "Ferrari Red"! The end result was a surprisingly refreshing take on a familiar design style. Our inspiration was also from a dinner I had in the original James Beard Foundation townhouse in New York City. The entire dining room was painted a tomato red because James Beard believed the color aided digestion. Who are we to question such an Food Icon in a kitchen?!
