Our client wanted something different from what they presently had.
Through interviews they recalled how they enjoyed the Onsen baths in Japan. We did some research and found a local source for the "Hinoki" wood. The wood has a fragrant smell and together with the tactile quality of the aged granite slab trough sink and the minimalist design of the bathroom we managed to transport the bather into another world.
