For this project, we were able to join a small kitchen, dining room and living room into one large open living space. Major structural improvements involved adding a large support beam across the rooms to remove the load bearing walls and expanding the back exterior wall by two feet. Stained maple hardwood floors, a large island with seating, plenty of roll-out shelves, LED lighting and a farmhouse sink are some design elements that really bring this kitchen transformation to life. Owen Homes LLC, the homeowners and Built Kansas City, LLC partnered to design the layout and select finishes that created this beautiful transformation.
