We worked with our client to restore her kitchen after a flood and transform it into a part of the home to be shared with family and friends for entertaining and daily life. The large island is the centerpiece; we matched the existing fireplace mantel color. The island itself has a large prep area and prep sink, which, like the kitchen sink, has a touchless faucet. The client loves to cook, and this kitchen has lots of unique touches to complement that passion. The kitchen features a steam oven, something that presents the unique challenge of connecting it to the secondary sink for proper drainage. Other creative design features include a pullout pantry that’s great for storage, a drawer dishwasher,and a warmer drawer. The kitchen features Miele appliances and the backsplash is glass tile. The flooring featured in this home is a unique tile that has the appearance of hardwood floors.
