Our empty nesters wanted to retire to their former Tahoe vacation home. We designed a "beachy mountain" home, now their full-time residence. Removing the walls that formerly constricted the kitchen opened the space, so the main public area (kitchen, dining and family rooms) is now one large, beautiful gathering place. The glass backsplash in the kitchen really ties the beachy modern theme together and the oversized island creates a fabulous breakfast bar. The updated master bath truly is an oasis and the entry, master bedroom, two guest bedrooms and laundry room are welcoming, peaceful spaces. And, you wouldn't recognize the house from the exterior either. New paint, windows and front door created quite the transformation.
