The client was not satisfied by the patio and grill surround installed by their builder, so they asked us to create an environment better suited to their family and social activities. Several ‘rooms’ were designed with this in mind. A large outdoor kitchen and bar seamlessly interact with a living room containing a fireplace and outdoor television, and a separate dining area for more intimate gatherings. The attached sport court is primarily for the kids, but can be used for extra entertaining space when needed or as the family grows. By adding privacy and ornamental plantings, as well as a variety of low voltage LED lighting, this outdoor space is utilized both day and night
