Although the original design of this Wayne property was installed years ago, this job has never been “finished”. A great landscape is always evolving to meet the changing needs of the client. The client wanted a newly designed patio to be an extension of their unique, modern home. Other priorities for this phase of work included the addition of a separate patio with a fire pit, screening the pool area from the main patio and adding layers to the mature landscape. Extending a turn around area on the driveway was a necessity in order to make exiting their long winding driveway easier for guests. All of the newly designed spaces needed to compliment the architecture of the house and utilize the long narrow lot. A reorganization of transplants mixed with the new plantings gives a fresh look to the landscape. The final outcome of this project is exactly on target for the client’s latest desires. They feel as comfortable entertaining and relaxing outside as they do inside their home.
