The custom window treatments set the theme in each of these bedrooms, in a Bethesda MD home. There is such a great variety of decorative drapery poles, and decorative finials. For the son's nursery and older sister's bedroom, I was able to locate some whimsical animal finials and custom paint them to coordinate with the window treatments, which will work now, as well as when they are older. In the master bedroom, an exotic palm tree and elephant print complemented the global fusion in the client's art collection and heritage. Flat pelmet valances behind the drapery poles hide the window shades, and frame the view. All of these custom draperies are room darkening.
