Photographer John Rogers and his wife, Beverley, chose me to design their custom home on the Blanco River.

I worked very hard to make sure the house was placed properly to take advantage of the great views of the Comal River. I think you can see from the photos that this worked out perfectly!

It was very sobering to see the damage that had occured on the river in the 2015 floods. Although this property did not sustain damage the water came within a few feet of where the Rogers wanted to place the home.

John and Beverley loved our personal house and wanted us to utilize it as the design vision, albeit on a simpler and smaller scale.

I am very excited that this is our first project with Steve Zbranek and Tony Holt.
