An amazing transformation took place in this lovely, light-filled Shoreview twin home. Our client, a retired librarian and gardener extraordinaire, had yet to put her signature on this home. As a team, we first discussed what factors were needed to truly personalize this home and make it the perfect retreat for all seasons. We then worked at identifying a few items that needed to love on to make way for selections better reflecting the homeowner's personality and passions. Some of the biggest changes included opening up a living room wall to connect to the homes' year-round sunroom. This brought in amazing light and needed circulation to this favorite space. the reconfigured kitchen received beautiful classic custom cabinetry, new counter tops and tile, and an expanded peninsula where the homeowner entertains, dines, and sews...all while looking out at her exquisite gardens. Mirrored wainscot walls were removed from the dining area and replaced with bold, yet classic, wallcovering, and modern dining furnishings. The living room included new rug and reupholstery of some of the furnishings along with custom pillows to bridge existing and new items seamlessly together. New flooring, lighting and newly painted trim lighten and brighten throughout this main floor. Custom bookcases become a central focal point beholding this bibliophile's favorite finds!
