This backyard renovation accomplishes a nearly two foot grade drop in a compact space between the house and the garage on an alley loaded property. Making the most of every square foot, a herb garden was incorporated into the patio which doubles as a seat wall. At under 400 square feet, this patio creates a fully functioning addition to an urban lot.
