Small Kitchen -- Big Improvement

Sometimes it seems impossible to gain more storage in a tiny kitchen without bumping out a wall or rearranging the floor plan. We did it in this small kitchen, though, and added more style mojo, too! Please take a look at the "before" photos -- you'll notice we re-used a couple of appliances, lights and flooring.

I like Corian. It's one of the cleanest, most germ-free surfaces you can use. We used Corian's "witch hazel" pattern and it came together beautifully at the waterfall and at the mitred corners. Notice there is no glare from lights on the countertop.

BEFORE PHOTO Notice there is really no good storage in this area of the kitchen. No landing space for items that are pulled from the refrigerator either. The Miele oven is awesome, though, and we re-used it in the new design plan.
