Spring First Floor Remodel
If good things come to those who wait, this beautiful home belongs to a well deserved family. Several years ago, this family purchased this original 1980's home knowing it would eventually need some TLC, but the oversized lot and great bones to the house gave them confidence it would be worth it. An almost complete gut to the first floor provided a clean slate to begin rebuilding a more functional and updated space downstairs. The kitchen was reconfigured with a large sit in island that serves as a multifunctional kitchen prep, homework desk, party buffet, and breakfast table area. Soothing blue-green tile backsplash paired with bright white cabinets and counters set the mood for a stress free home. Dark stained bookshelves and dining room cabinets paired alongside the kitchen bring depth and warmth to the space. A brand new cast stone fireplace was just the ticket for the vaulted ceiling family room. And last but not least, the master bathroom was taken down to the studs to take full use of the space. Frameless shower, soaker tub, double vanities and plenty of storage were all on the list with new bright lighting, fixtures, and countertops. High fives are flying in this house as this family celebrates the potential realized in the home they've loved for so long.
