The Alta Vista Home

This new home infill project put considerable effort into fitting in with the existing area. Queen size brick and a tinted mortar to help give an older appearance in an established neighborhood. The large gables and arched entry reflect just some of the architectural details of area.

The Alta Vista Exterior

The traditional kitchen has white cabinetry with an inset door panel, white subway tile backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. The stained island, farm sink, and large pendant lights finish off this comfortable kitchen.

Alta Vista Kitchen

This family room features a dramatic coffered ceiling which helps give the appearance of higher ceilings. The custom built-in cabinetry hides all of the audio and video equipment for the home. The french doors spill onto the large vaulted screen porch.

Two custom spice racks flank each side of the cooktop area and are hidden within columns that pull out with finger tabs. Adjustable shelving allow homeowners to fit any size bottle or container.

Alta Vista Column Spice Rack

This masterbath feels bright and open with light walls, cabinetry, and tile. The shower and floor are laid with light gray porcelain tile, while a glass tile inlay marks the shower. The vanity top is carrera marble.

The screen porch features a full masonry, wood burning fireplace. The mantel is made from a reclaimed mill timber. The vaulted ceiling is stained tongue and groove pine. Double screen doors allow a large entry into the space.

These entry cubbies are the perfect place to drop coats, book bags, and other odds and ends. The seating area is dark stained oak and the custom locker finish matches the other cabinetry in the home.
