The significant remodel captures numerous craftsman style details - from open rafter tails and cedar corbels on the exterior to the exposed trusses and tongue and groove ceilings on the interior. The floors were milled from water-reclaimed antique heart pine. The baths were laid in Italian marble. The antique clawfoot tub was sandblasted and reglazed. Sustainable growth Ipé decking and composite trim completes the exterior. In addition, numerous "green" features such as Icynene insulation, tankless water heaters, and high efficiency HVAC systems make this home as cost effective as it is attractive. The finishing touches include a freestanding treehouse, complete with a sleeping loft and covered front porch. The custom details on this project made it a pleasure to build and beautiful to display.
