The Brookshire’s design and construction utilized historical architectural details to perfection. The brick on the chimney and foundation appears to be old world and stands out with the use of white mortar. The Hardie plank siding material was used in a staggered exposure. When you open the custom mahogany door the home you first notice the open floor plan, the beautiful European white oak hard wax oil finished floors and the beautiful custom designed volute at staircase.
The fireplace was recessed into the foundation of the home to allow for a flush hearth and a special mantel detail. The trim and doors in the home are all painted “Felted Wool” a color that gives it a luxurious feel throughout the home. The kitchen contains all custom cabinetry and holds the Thermador refrigerator and freezer towers that blend in as cabinetry doors and drawers. There is also a built-in coffee maker.
ID Studios selected a variety of countertop materials in the home. The kitchen is Cambria, the laundry is black honed granite, the master bath is Carrera marble and the other bathrooms are Brown Silk granite.
At 2,500 sf the home has multiple storage closets. The pantry and storage closet in the kitchen have custom mirrored doors that have caught the eye of everyone that has visited.
This highly efficient home is equipped with full spray foam insulation and an energy recovery ventilation system that will keep the air fresh, clean and comfortable. The garage is for two cars and a golf cart.
