We worked on this unique project in summer 2018. It’s a wonderful example of a structure blending into the nature. The front porch architecture incorporates an existing tree into the design adding character that perfectly fits in with the new landscaping. We selected shade and woodland plants that will grow well with existing trees changing interest throughout the year. Forest Japanese grasses lineup the main entrance walkway and draw the eye with its bright color and soft texture from far away. Spectacular hydrangea tree fits in the space decorating the brick wall like a diamond pendant on the necklace. Vines, boxwoods, perennials and a handful of stepping stones all come together into harmony. This soothing environment exudes calmness, especially in the evening hours.
