Transitional White Kitchen Remodel (Hilliard, OH)
Existing kitchen was a dated traditional style kitchen. All of the original appliances and finishes installed in the late 1990's were basic builder grade finishes that didn't match the beautiful setting on the home on the golf course. Everything needed an upgrade including the function and layout of the spaces. Our clients wished to expand layout and work space of kitchen without adding square footage to footprint of home. Our proposed design plan included removing the pantry closet, work desk area and angled peninsula along with removing all of the appliances, cabinetry & plumbing fixtures. Solid wood shaker style cabinetry were installed to full ceiling height with custom pullouts and accessories maximized storage space and removing the pantry allowed for additional cabinets and countertop work space. A gas line was installed for the new Thermador gas cooktop as well as new ductwork for venting the hood. All of the existing hardwood was refinished on the first floor of the home.
