Clients desired a better connection with their backyard through their walkout basement. Existing deck stairs were redesigned & relocated to provide safety and a better connection with upper and lower spaces. A new header beam was installed to support the upper deck and allow a column to be eliminated on the lower patio creating a more expansive view of the backyard. A channel system was installed underneath upper deck to protect lower patio from water and debris.
