Union Bathrooms

To update and improve the utility of these two bathrooms, we made the shower bigger, added a toilet in the guest bath, and swapped the shallow tub for a more comfortable soaking tub. Also, adding a new vented glass block window in each room brought in natural light and fresh air while maintaining privacy.

Both bathrooms received bamboo cabinets with horizontal grain. Also, both toilets feature insulated tanks to prevent sweating in the humid summer weather. The floor tile is a 24x12 brick pattern.

The master bath also has a porcelain vanity top like in the guest bath. The bigger space in this room allows more counter space.

The new bigger shower space took advantage of the underutilized space at the end of the original shower. And a marble shelf provides room for shower necessities.

The shower got a fixed glass splash panel. The light reflected in the glass is over the vanity (taken before the mirrored medicine cabinet was installed). Both bathrooms benefited from new vented glass block windows. There had been no natural light before the renovation in either room.

Both bathrooms have similar porcelain vanity tops. So easy to clean and really sharp looking. This smaller vanity allows room for a toilet along the same wall in the guest bath.
