This 1959 daylight ranch home still had it's original kitchen. Our client wanted to open up the small kitchen to the large living room in order to create a space that's perfect for entertaining. We removed a load bearing wall and seamlessly laced in new hardwood flooring to integrate the two rooms. We expanded the 5' patio door to 8' to capture more of the view and light. The kitchen has all new custom alder cabinets with a large island table for friends and family to gather. There are several clever storage features such as a built in flour/sugar bin, spice and oil pull outs and two side by side pop up mixer shelves.
